Paste text into multiple objects

With think-cell, you can paste text from any kind of text file into objects on your slide. To paste different sections of text into multiple objects in a certain order, first organize these sections in your text file. If the text is in Excel, separate the text into consecutive table cells in the order that you want. If the text is in a text file, such as Word, separate the text with line breaks or with the Tab key.

To paste text into multiple objects, follow these steps:

  1. In the file that contains the text, select the text that you want to paste into the objects, then copy the selection to your clipboard (for example, by selecting Ctrl+C).

  1. In PowerPoint, select the objects that you want to paste text into. To learn how to quickly select multiple objects, see Select multiple objects.

  1. Paste the text in your clipboard into your selection (for example, by selecting Ctrl+V).
