- External data links
With think-cell Suite, you can link elements in your presentation to Excel and Tableau data sources, and update linked elements easily whenever there's new data in their sources. You can also create new linked elements in your presentation directly from Excel or Tableau.
Here's an overview of the topics that explain how you can use think-cell to work with external data in PowerPoint.
Create elements from Excel
Create linked think-cell charts, tables, images, Harvey balls, and checkboxes directly from Excel data, or link existing elements in your presentation to Excel. Linked elements stay up-to-date without the need to manually copy and paste values from Excel whenever the data changes.
Create elements from Tableau
Create linked charts and tables directly from Tableau data or link existing elements in your presentation to Tableau. Linked elements stay up-to-date without the need to manually copy and paste values or export snapshots from Tableau.
Manage data links
Manage external data sources and specify how linked elements interpret and display external data. Update linked elements with new data or take back their last data update on their mini toolbar. View all linked elements in your presentation, manage their data updates in one place, and switch between different data sources with the Data Links dialog.
