Insert elements

Inserting an element into your presentation is similar to inserting a PowerPoint shape. To insert an element on a slide, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Insert > think-cell > Elements.
  2. Select the element that you want. An orange outline appears on the slide, indicating where the element will appear.
  3. To insert the element with the default width and height, select a position on the slide. To insert the element with a custom size, drag the orange outline on the slide. You can always change the size of an element after you insert it.

Some element icons have small arrows on each side. If you hover over the arrow markers, think-cell shows the element in rotated orientations. To insert an element in a rotated orientation, select the arrow that shows the orientation that you want (see Rotate and flip elements).

If you select the wrong element, you can do one of the following:

  • Select Esc to cancel the insert operation.
  • Select a different element.

When you insert or resize an element, you can align it to other objects (see think-cell alignment guides).
