Resize objects
Learn how to resize think-cell elements, proportionally resize a selection PowerPoint shapes, and match the sizes of both elements and shapes.
Resize elements
When you select an element, resize handles appear at the corners and on the edges of the selection frame. To resize an element, drag one of these handles.
To align an element's position and size across slides, follow these steps:
- Select and hold a resize handle, then move to a different slide:
- To move to the previous slide, select Page up or rotate the mouse wheel up.
- To move to the next slide, select Page down or rotate the mouse wheel down.
- To move to the first slide, select Home.
- To move to the last slide, select End.
- The outline of the element that you are resizing will appear in gray, and you can align the element to think-cell elements or PowerPoint shapes on the other slide (see 🛇Insert elements).
- To apply the new size and return to the original slide, release the mouse button.

Match object sizes
You can match the width, height, or size of two or more elements. Matching sizes also works if you include PowerPoint shapes in your selection. To match object sizes, follow these steps:
- Select all objects whose sizes you want to match (see Select multiple objects).
- Select a reference object (see 🛇3.3.4 Reference object). The width, height, or size of all selected objects will match the width, height, or size of the reference object. If you don't select a reference object, all objects will match the largest width, height, or size in the selection .
- Select think-cell > Layout and select Same Width
All objects will resize to the same width, height, or size, respectively.
