think-cell 6 launched

On December 3rd, think-cell launched the brand-new version 6 of its flagship presentation package for Microsoft PowerPoint. The new release will be delivered to all customers under the think-cell partnership program, and is also available as a full-featured trial.

think-cell 6 is the first version of this well-known presentation software that not only includes the industry-leading charting capabilities of think-cell chart and the Excel data rounding functions of think-cell round, but also the first component of the slide layout add-in think-cell layout: the agenda. The agenda component facilitates the easy creation and maintenance of Table of Contents and Chapter slides by automatically updating the entire presentation when a chapter title changes or slides are reordered.

"In previous years we have solved the problem of creating data-driven charts, but now we take the next big step forward and deliver the first component of our think-cell layout product – to the benefit of a much larger group of professional PowerPoint users", explains Markus Hannebauer, think-cell's CEO. "To make sure that every current and future customer can make use of this major improvement, we have decided to make this product available at no additional cost for all licensed users of think-cell chart . With this decision, our software becomes a complete suite of cutting-edge productivity tools for PowerPoint with a simple and fair licensing model."

Besides the new agenda component, think-cell 6 also enables compatibility with Microsoft's new operating system Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Office 2013.
