think-cell to hold series of C++ lectures at TU Darmstadt

Berlin, October 8, 2013

From February 17 to February 21, 2014, think-cell co-founder and CTO Dr. Arno Schödl will hold a series of lectures on Modern C++ Programming at one of Germany’s top computer science faculties: TU Darmstadt.

This lecture will be open to all students of computer science, mathematics and physics currently enrolled at TU Darmstadt. It will cover the fundamental concepts and features of C++, as well as the standard library, and it will teach best practice solutions for problems arising in C++ software development.

Furthering the education of C++ at top universities is part of think-cell's effort to secure the future of the programming language itself. As of January 2013 think-cell is the key sponsor of the computer language group at the German Institute for Standardization (DIN), and active participant in the C++ standardization effort at the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
