think-cell chart 4 launched

Berlin, November 17, 2005

On November 17th, think-cell launched the brand new version 4 of think-cell chart – its flagship product for chart creation in Microsoft PowerPoint. The new release will be delivered to all customers under the think-cell partnership program and is also available as a full-featured 30 day trial.

"Among the many valuable suggestions from our customers one has always been most prominent: the external Excel link." explains Arno Schödl, think-cell's CTO. "I could perfectly understand that. Since my days as a young McKinsey Summer Associate I had dreamed of an Excel linking mechanism for charts that really works. It has been a challenging task but finally we've done it. We are very proud of it and invite everyone to take a closer look."

"We have improved think-cell chart a lot." adds Markus Hannebauer, think-cell's CEO. "The automatic labeling has become much more powerful and individual styling is now supported. But the Excel link sticks out of the other improvements. It takes the interaction with think-cell chart to a whole new level. All people working with complex data, e.g., controllers and analysts, will love this feature and will now finish a former day's work in minutes."
