Sebastian Theophil presents at AAAI-06

Boston/Berlin, July 19, 2006

As part of think-cell's ongoing contribution to the academic community Sebastian Theophil, senior software engineer at think-cell, and Arno Schödl, think-cell's CTO, have published a paper on automatic scatter chart labeling. Sebastian will present the paper at the 21st National Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI-06) in Boston.

The results of this research were used in think-cell chart 4.2, the brand new version of think-cell's leading PowerPoint charting package.

About the AAAI conference

The AAAI series of conferences is the premier gathering of Artificial Intelligence (AI) researchers organized by the American Association for Artificial Intelligence. Every year it brings together hundreds of scientists. Papers from the conference are regularly among the most-cited publications in the field. This year, 774 articles have been submitted of which 171 were accepted for presentation at the conference.
