C++Now in Aspen, USA 2025
April 28, 2025

think-cell is sponsoring C++Now 2025 as a Track sponsor. The conference will take place from April 30 to May 2, 2025, and is an important event for advanced C++ developers. C++Now is known for providing a focused environment for deep technical discussions, bringing together experts, including members of the C++ Standards Committee, to discuss the latest developments in C++.

On Monday April 28 at 14:30 Jonathan Müller, Software Engineer at think-cell, will give his talk "Overengineering max(a, b): Mixed Comparison Functions, Common References, and Rust's Lifetime Annotations." Jonathan's talk will explore overengineering of max(a, b), mixed comparison functions, common references, and Rust’s lifetime annotations as they relate to C++ development.

Later into the conference, on Thursday May 1st at 9:00 Jonathan will give another one of his talks, "Missing (and Future?) C++ Range Concepts." This talk will explore new range types beyond the current C++ range concepts, including compile-time-sized ranges, noncontiguous ranges with contiguous chunks, and optimizations using a pushed-based for_each_while(rng, sink) customization point. Jonathan will also discuss heterogeneous ranges, enabling efficient handling of multiple types in range algorithms.

As part of the sponsorship, think-cell will support a track of sessions at the conference, covering approximately one-third of the conference’s content.

think-cell is proud to contribute to C++Now 2025 and support the ongoing growth and development of the C++ community.
