think-cell charts do not update when I change the cell background color or other cell formats in Excel 2007

Problem

When using think-cell data links in Office 2007, the charts do not update when I change the cell background color or other cell formats in Excel.

Note: If you are using conditional formatting to change the background, please refer to KB0174.

Solution

This problem was caused by a bug in Excel 2007 that was fixed with later Microsoft updates. We recommend installing the most recent Service Pack for Office 2007, which is Service Pack 3. Please download and install it from the Microsoft Download Center:
