Who we are

think-cell was founded in 2002 by former schoolmates Arno and Markus, both computer science PhDs, driven by a shared vision: to revolutionize slide creation using advanced computer graphics and AI technology. What started as an ambitious idea has grown into a product trusted by over 1,200,000 users worldwide.

think-cell has established its product as the world’s leading software for creating data-driven business presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint. Since our founding in 2002, we have helped more than one million users at over 25,000 companies build their presentations faster and more efficiently. Our mission is to streamline every aspect of presentation creation, providing the tools users need to quickly and accurately create any slide, from agendas and process flows to complex data-driven charts.

With their academic roots at the core, think-cell has flourished by focusing on hiring the best talent with a joint passion for building something exceptional. Read the full story here.

Meeting think-cell

We’re always excited to meet curious, motivated people who are passionate about what they do. If you are interested in a tech role at think-cell, make sure to drop by at one of our events.

You’ll often find us at career fairs, university events, and industry conferences across Europe. We also host local meetups and encourage our team members to share their expertise through talks and workshops. It’s all part of how we stay connected to the wider tech community – and keep learning from each other along the way.

Where we work

Our headquarters have been located in the heart of Berlin, in the central district of Mitte, ever since the company was founded. Berlin is a culturally rich and diverse city, known for its creativity and international atmosphere. If you're joining us from abroad, we’re happy to support with visa processes where needed.

We also have offices in Boston, Denver, London, Tokyo, and Dubai. While some positions offer the option for remote work, we value in-person collaboration and follow a hybrid model with an office-first culture. Many of us enjoy starting the day with a shared breakfast at the office, it's a small but meaningful part of how we stay connected.

Dog friendly environment

We’re big fans of four-legged coworkers. Dogs bring joy, spark conversations, and boost the mood – so if you’ve got a furry friend, feel free to bring them along to the office!

One of our regulars is Carlos, a 7-year-old Havanese with a heart of gold. He’s always up for a cuddle (and maybe a treat or two) and makes everyone’s day a little brighter.

Green commute, active breaks

Our office in Berlin is right next to a designated bike path, making cycling to the office easy and enjoyable. We’ve got secure bike storage on-site – and for those who like to stay active, we also have showers available.

Many of our colleagues take advantage of the great location to get outside during the day – whether it’s a quick run, a walk in the fresh air, or just stretching their legs when the sun’s out. It’s all part of our culture of balance, well-being, and making the most of the day.
