Cpp Europe in Bucharest, Romania

February 25, 2020

On February 25th, we attended the CPP Europe 2020 conference, held in Bucharest Romania for the 3rd time in a row. Our team consisted of CTO Arno Schödl, Senior Software Engineer Edgar and HR Manager Julia.

Over 180 participants were at Arno’s talk "The C++ rvalue lifetime disaster". In this talk, Arno described the problems in detail, presented a library-only approach to mitigate the problems, and finally, made an impossible-to-ever-get-into-the-standard proposal of how to put things right.

We happily welcomed every conference participant at our bright green booth to learn more about our product and career opportunities. Along with some German candy, everyone received a small gift from our company – a portable corporate branded powerbank.

It was great getting to meet so many new people, as well as seeing some familiar faces from our last visit in 2018. We really enjoyed the cooperation and look forward for future conferences.
