EAT++ at Freie Universität Berlin

What happened at this event?

On February 15th, we visited the Department of Computer Science at Freie Universität Berlin for a guest lecture and buffet as part of our famous "EAT++" series. Senior software developer Valentin Ziegler gave a well received talk on the C++ Memory Modell and answered in depth questions about his work at think-cell.

In case you missed Valentin's talk or want to see it again.

After the talk, most of our guests stayed on to chat about technical challenges, or simply to socialize over snacks and drinks. We had a great time hosting this lecture at the Freie Universität and hope to visit the Computer Science Department again soon!

Valentin´s talk about the C++ Memory Modell...

...was well preceived by our guests.

He explained in depths the possibilities C++ offers...

...and fascinated the audience with insight on our work.

After the talk, most of our guests stayed to have a chat...

...and a bite to eat with us.

Valentin stayed late answering questions...

... and we discussed career options think-cell has to offer.

Who is think-cell?

think-cell was founded in 2002 by two computer scientists who continue to run the company. We produce graphics software that performs most of the painstaking work of creating presentation slides for our demanding users.

Find out more about our company and our working environment on the career overview page. If you are looking for more information on what development problems we are facing every day go to our C++ developer job posting.
