EAT++ at ETH Zurich, Switzerland 2013

May 29, 2013

On 29 May, we made our way to Switzerland for the second time this year to meet computer scientists at ETH Zurich. Dr. Sebastian Theophil, senior software engineer at think-cell, gave a lecture on automated slide layout entitled "Layout without LaTeX: Intuitive and Interactive", which was very well received by the audience of over 40 students and professors in the lecture hall.

We then made our way to Commercio, a restaurant not far from Lake Zurich, where we rounded off the evening with an excellent meal. Five colleagues, in the company of 33 invited guests, enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere that lent itself very well to both technical and general discussions.

Who is think-cell?

think-cell was founded in 2002 by two computer scientists who continue to run the company. We produce graphics software that performs most of the painstaking work of creating presentation slides for our demanding users.
