Therefore we are seeking a dynamic and creative Senior Website and SEO Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record of delivering results through website and organic traffic optimizations. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of best-practices in B2B SaaS website experience and SEO strategy. No job is too small – the ideal candidate will work collaboratively with others and directly work on content production as needed to deliver on business and content objectives  

This position requires fluency in German.

What will you do?

• Develop SEO and website improvement strategy based on business objectives, user engagement data, Google Trends & market development
• Own the company website, from building and communicating its long term-vision to ensuring its regular improvements and updates
• Drive our crawling strategy, keyword monitoring, URL structure and all other key aspects of on-site and off-site SEO performance optimization
• Research UA flow performance and, with support from other teams, work on the funnel improvements and conversion rate optimisation 
• Break complex technical projects into well-sequenced deliverables for both individually owned and cross-functional topics
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure an effective content strategy and a content creation process at scale that benefits both SEO KPIs and customer experience
• Build close relationships with the entire team and all stakeholders in Marketing, Content, Sales, Quality Management, Product, etc.
• Stay on top of the latest industry trends, algorithm updates and best practices to ensure continuous SEO improvements. 

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience managing large scale SEO projects and have previously planned & implemented a successful SEO strategy.
• Passion about user intent, experience and conversion rate optimization. 
• Experience using Google Analytics, Matomo, Google Search Console, SEO tools (ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog etc). Experience with other analytics tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, prioritization and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to a non-expert audience.
• Language skills: you are able to express yourself in English (native speaker or C2 level) freely and idiomatically ; German fluency is a plus.
