At think-cell, we are looking for a People Hero to complete our People Team. As a crucial member of the team, you will play a vital role in driving our people strategy and evolving our company culture worldwide. You are the perfect fit, if you have strong knowledge in VISA and labor law topics and a passion for cultivating an extraordinary & diverse company culture.    

What will you do?

• Partner closely with our global team and service providers - Berlin, London, Tokyo, Denver, and Boston, to help us grow together as one big company  
• Be the point of contact to all think-cellers for all internal administration topics 
• Manage our HRIS Personio and all it’s internal processes 
• Provide an excellent experience for our international employees through Visa and relocation support 
• Be responsible for all payroll matters for EMEA and Japan teams 
• Be an active sparring partner and thinker related to labor law topics on a global scale 
• Participate in all People Operations processes, manage, improve and evangelize them throughout the organization to ensure a great employee experience  
• Support high employee engagement and be a cornerstone of the company culture and  
• Participate in People related projects – implementation of new tools and practices  
• Keep your finger on the pulse of the organization and have a proactive approach.  

Your profile

• Strong generalist experience in People Operations, VISA and labor law topics 
• University degree in Psychology, HR-Management, Business Administration, or a related field  
• Knowledge and experience working with German labor law; additional knowledge of labor regulations in one or more of the following locations (US, UK, Japan) is a strong plus  
• Proven expertise in utilizing numerical data and generating reports   
• Experience working with Personio or similar personnel management systems  
• Proficiency in Excel and a strong passion for working with numbers  
• Fluent in English and German  
• Experience working in an international setting and ability to manage different office locations  
• Proven ability to take ownership of projects and successfully implement them.  

This position is based in think-cell’s headquarters in Berlin
