Kontaktparty at ETH Zurich, Switzerland

March 11, 2023

We are thrilled to share that our biggest highlight of this month was the VIS Kontaktparty: On the 11th of March, in long standing tradition, we took part in this event hosted by the renowned ETH university in the heart of the Zurich.

Although we were a little worried at the beginning that the cold and snowy weather would have a major impact on the number of participants, the event was undoubtedly a great success! It attracted more than 600 participants, giving us the opportunity to meet so many talented students and graduates. As always, we were delighted to tell them more about think-cell, showcase our product and establish new connections. The previous year, disappointingly, we were not able to bring our popular coffee stand with us due to COVID 19 restrictions. This year, however, we got “back in the trenches” and the feedback we received was amazing: We were pleased to see how many people remembered us and expressed their gratitude.

During the event, Julia and Georgii, representatives from our HR team, were excited to share insights with potential candidates on how our company works. Meanwhile, senior software developers Volker and Tobias explained our technical stack and the processes behind the development of our market-leading software solution. We were once again astonished by the number of people interested in the future of C++ and the variety of thoughtful programming questions we received. Just as surprising, was the fact that participants were more excited about learning how to join our team than they were about our tasty cookies and bright green, branded socks.

If you didn't get a chance to take part in the event but would still like to learn more about us, we encourage you to visit our events page to see what's coming up next. If you're already interested in joining our team, send us your CV via the careers page — we look forward to hearing from you and hopefully seeing you soon!
