C++ On Sea in Kent, UK

This year, think-cell visited Folkestone in Kent, UK, for the first time live! For the past 2 years, due to the pandemic, we could only virtually enjoy Folkstone’s lovely scenery overlooking the English Channel. As the saying goes though, “third time’s a charm” and we were very happy to interact with more than 200 participants.
Our founder & CTO Arno presented his talk “A Practical Approach to Error Handling” and our Senior Software Developer Sebastian presented “Windows, macOS and the Web: Lessons from cross-platform development at think-cell”. For this they especially organized a 1 day trip with Arno’s private jet (yes, Arno is a licensed pilot!).
It was a pleasure to meet all the participants and we hope to visit the conference again next year!
Who is think-cell?
think-cell was founded in 2002 by two computer scientists who continue to run the company. We produce graphics software that performs most of the painstaking work of creating presentation slides for our demanding users.
