C++ Now in Aspen, USA

May 5, 2022

At the beginning of May, our founder & CTO Arno as well as Senior Software Engineer Sebastian flew to Aspen, Colorado to present their talks live for the first time since the COVID pandemic.

There were 3 talks from think-cell that you can watch via the links below:

·       “A Practical Approach to Error Handling” and “Why Iterators Got It All Wrong — and what we should use instead” presented by Arno.

·       “Typescripten: Generating type-safe JavaScript bindings for emscripten” presented by Sebastian.

“C++ Now is a very special conference and it was a huge pleasure, and honour, to present my talk there. The relatively small number of participants, most of them experienced developers who actively participate in the C++ standardisation work, and the high quality of the talks makes the conference feel more like a summer camp. Where else could you have both Dave Abrahams, the founder of the boost library project, and Bill Hoffmann, the original author of cmake, in your audience.” – Sebastian upon his return to Berlin.
