C++ Weekly episode – Sebastian T's interview with CppCast

February 12, 2021

On February 12th, our Senior Developer, Sebastian T., had the pleasure of being interviewed by Rob Irving and Jason Turner, the two hosts from CppCast — the first podcast for C++ developers by C++ developers!

Both hosts had many questions about the technical challenges we have faced while porting think-cell from Windows to macOS. Later, they discussed the best strategies to design truly cross-platform code, as well as the differences between Windows and macOS in detail. Last but not least, they talked about our efforts to compile parts of think-cell to WebAssembly and about the tcjs tool (https://github.com/think-cell/tcjs) we have developed at think-cell to generate type-safe C++ interfaces for JavaScript libraries.

To find out more, listen to the C++ Weekly episode with Sebastian and feel free to share it with other interested C++ enthusiasts.
