CppCon in Bellevue, USA

September 23–29, 2018

In late September, our CTO Arno Schödl arrived at the beautiful city of Bellevue in WA, USA to take part in CppCon, an event that gathered over 1200 C++ programmers from all around the world. It was the first time think-cell joined the conference as a Bronze sponsor. Participants were delighted to find a present from think-cell – branded power banks in their conference bags.

At the conference, Arno presented his new speech, “Text Formatting For a Future Range-Based Standard Library”, for the first time, convincing the audience that combining ranges with a bit of metaprogramming makes a very elegant solution to the text formatting problem. The attendees, which were mainly advanced level programmers, asked quite a number of questions, which Arno gladly answered.

Having had such a great experience with CppCon, we are looking forward to joining next year! Meanwhile, check out our events page for upcoming events all around the world.

Hope to meet you there!
