Careers in IT Fair at The University of Edinburgh

What happened at this event?

February 1st marked the date of the annual Careers in IT fair in beautiful Edinburgh. So we flew all the way up to Scotland with our software developer colleague Simon, a former graduate of the University of Edinburgh, delighted to get to know some of the bright students of the Computer Science department. Simon explained the scope of our software in detail and was thrilled about the enthusiasm with which the job opportunities at think-cell were met. Although some students still have a while to go until graduation, we would love to welcome them in Berlin some day! To sweeten the time until then, we brought our famous Berlin cookies to the stand. Thanks for having us, Edinburgh!

Our software developer Simon, always happy to be back at his former university...

...talked to interested students about think-cell and his experiences as software developer.

Our cookies and newly branded flyers drew in the crowds...

...while the exciting career opportunities we offer made them stay.

Eager to present our software and the challenges we solve daily...

...Simon gave insight into his daily work as a developer...

...and discussed the aspects in modern C++ programming with the students.

We were pleased to have so many interested visitors with in depth questions...

...and hope some might find their way to Berlin as new colleagues one day!

Who is think-cell?

think-cell was founded in 2002 by two computer scientists who continue to run the company. We produce graphics software that performs most of the painstaking work of creating presentation slides for our demanding users.
