Graduation Party at TU Darmstadt, Germany 2013

June 28, 2013

The party for students graduating from TU Darmstadt's Computer Science Department and the Information and System Technology degree program took place in the Karolinensaal event hall of the Hesse Historical Archives in Darmstadt on June 28.

The Associate Dean, Professor Mira Mezini, kicked off the celebration alongside Professor Andy Schürr with a heartfelt greeting, and acknowledged all graduates of the undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral programs. Following the tributes, the alumni address was held by "Big Data" expert Dr. Christof Leng from the U.S., in which he mentioned the responsibility that computer science has to society. There was musical accompaniment to guarantee a party atmosphere, as well as a sweet and savory buffet, sponsored by think-cell.
