- thinkcell, the creator of the leading productivity software for data-driven presentations which saves users up to 70% time, has appointed Adam Conlon as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer effective July 2025. He is following Christoph Hobo, who played an important role in scaling thinkcell’s operations and supporting the company’s international growth.
thinkcell is growing double digit and has now c. 1.3m users across sectors and geographies. Since 2021 new offices were opened in Japan, US, UK and the UAE and thinkcell has expanded its product offering with thinkcell Library.
A well-structured transition is underway, and Christoph will stay on as an advisor over the coming months to ensure continuity.
Adam is a Chartered Accountant with a strong track record in private equity-backed software and services businesses. He spent several years in Transaction Services at PwC and has since held CFO positions at several high-growth companies, including Prospitalia and Blue Yonder. In these roles, he led multiple M&A transactions, executed finance transformations, and scaled finance and operations functions to support double-digit growth.
Most recently, Adam served as Interim CFO at Unzer, where he played a key role in implementing value creation initiatives, enhancing financial controls and establishing scalable systems for long-term success.
Adam’s blend of strategic finance expertise, operational discipline, and private equity experience makes him an ideal fit as we continue to grow globally and invest in the future of our business.
At thinkcell, we value analytical strength and a pronounced hands-on mentality. Adam brings both and we are confident that he will play a key role in shaping thinkcell’s next chapter. I thank Christoph for his significant contributions over the past four years and his ongoing support with making this transition a success.
I’m excited to join thinkcell at this inflection point. It’s a highly profitable business with strong fundamentals and significant potential. I look forward to partnering with the team and investors to support continued growth and long-term value creation.
Adam’s appointment further strengthens thinkcell’s leadership team and financial infrastructure as the company accelerates its international expansion.
