The 2nd edition of the think-cell Global Case Competition concluded on 7 November 2025, bringing together top student teams from universities worldwide to tackle a complex, real-world business challenge.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, this year’s competition attracted 330+ teams from 130+ universities and featured multiple stages. Participants demonstrated strong capabilities in strategy, analytics, and data-driven storytelling, using think-cell to communicate insights clearly and effectively.

This edition marked a significant step forward with the introduction of regional rounds and dedicated undergraduate and graduate tracks, broadening the competition’s reach and recognizing excellence at multiple levels.

Teams were tasked with developing a 12-slide presentation outlining the growth strategy of a global streaming company. Participants also received hands-on training from think-cell experts on slide writing, chart design, and effective data storytelling.

Meet the Winners

After weeks of preparation and live regional rounds, six winners (three from undergraduate and three from graduate track) of the regional rounds presented in the global final to a distinguished panel of judges containing a partner from a leading global consulting firm, think-cell's Head of North America and Global Strategic accounts, and think-cell’s VP of Strategy and Corporate Development.

Out of the six finalists, the panel of judges chose Luna Wang, Iris Wong, Victor Wang, and Jean Lin from team Quaker Cell currently studying at University of Pennsylvania as the winners of the undergraduate track.

Jakov Velskovski, Tala Salim Salman, Daniela Toth, and Nikola Meshkovski from the team ATG Consulting, currently studying at Corvinus University of Budapest, were chosen as the global winners, with the judges impressed by their sharp strategy, compelling data storytelling, strong presentation skills and amazing Q&A round.

Advice for future teams:

The idea matters, but how you present it matters just as much. A logical flow, clear assumptions, and storytelling that works for all types of judges can really set a team apart.
