C++ Meetup in Stockholm, Sweden 2024

November 21, 2024

On November 21, 2024, we are returning to Stockholm to co-organize the SwedenCpp Community Meetup. After a great experience in 2017, we’re excited to reconnect with the Swedish C++ community.

This year, Senior Software Engineer Sebastian Theophil will deliver his talk, "Passive ARM Assembly Skills for Debugging, Optimization (and Hacking)." His session provides a practical introduction to ARM assembly, focusing on essential skills for debugging and optimizing applications on ARM machines, especially for those with x86 assembly experience.

The program also features a talk by Google Software Engineer Hans Wennborg titled “C++ Switch Statements Under the Hood in LLVM.” Here’s a sneak peek: Are switch statements more efficient than if-else chains? How do they get optimized? This deep dive into Clang/LLVM’s handling of the switch construct will answer these questions and more.

Our HR team members Julia and Anastasia will also be there to network with the community and share insights on what it’s like to work at think-cell as a C++ Developer.
