IT Career Fair at Heidelberg University, Germany 2024

In July, we attended the IT Career Fair at Heidelberg University. It was our first time visiting the beautiful town of Heidelberg and participating in the university's career event, which gathered about 2000 students and alumni from the computer science, mathematics, and natural sciences departments.

Heidelberg University, founded in 1386, is Germany’s oldest university and one of the leading research institutions in Europe. A key strength of its Computer Science program is its strong interdisciplinary orientation, which is reflected in numerous research projects and teaching initiatives.

During the one-day event, we had the opportunity to network with interested students and talented young professionals. We discussed our C++ Internship and full-time C++ Developer position, which include the option to write an academic thesis with us. We also highlighted our other benefits, such as a flat organizational structure, no meetings or overtime, flexible working hours, relocation assistance, and our commitment to producing excellent code.

Our team, including Software Developer Jonathan and HR representatives Julia and Anastasia, provided participants with insights into applying to think-cell, along with the chance to win branded prizes.

We were truly impressed by both the quantity and quality of conversations we had with the event participants. We look forward to exploring further collaboration with Heidelberg University’s IT students and graduates!
