C++ Lecture at HU Berlin, Germany 2024

May 30, 2024

On May 30, 2024, we were thrilled to return to Humboldt University in Berlin (HU Berlin) for the sixth time. HU Berlin is ranked 87th in the world and fourth in Germany.

Our Software Engineer, Jonathan Müller, was a guest lecturer on “A Deep Dive into Dispatching Techniques” as part of the "Programming in C" lecture in the Department of Computer Science. In his talk, Jonathan covered everything from simple switch statements to jump tables and computed goto, with insights into performance analysis tools, assembly, and implications of CPU design.

We were happy to see over 50 students attending the talk and look forward to continuing our cooperation next semester. Stay tuned for new events scheduled!
