konaktiva at TU Darmstadt, Germany 2024

May 14, 2024

This May, think-cell participated in the konaktiva career fair at the Technical University of Darmstadt (TU Darmstadt) for the first time.

konaktiva is one of Germany’s largest student-organized business contact fairs, and TU Darmstadt is known for its strong history and one of the oldest computer science programs in Germany. The fair was an excellent venue for us to present the career opportunities available at think-cell and discuss software development with a community of students, graduates, and professionals.

To facilitate knowledge sharing, our Software Engineer Jonathan gave a talk, "Fun with C and C++ Syntax," exploring unusual switch statements, unconventional declarations, and the philosophies behind C's and C++'s syntax choices. The talk received positive feedback from the student audience.

Our HR team, including Julia, Anastasia, and Sorina, had the chance to discuss various career opportunities at think-cell for C++ Interns and Developers.

We also offered complimentary snacks and hosted a raffle with prizes, including our signature green socks, bike seat covers, and other goodies. These activities helped us connect with many talented students and share the benefits of working at think-cell, such as competitive salaries, flexible working hours, relocation support, and the chance to work with an international team of experts.

The event was very well-organized, setting a high bar for student-organized forums. We appreciate the organizers' efforts and their dedication to supporting the professional growth of their students, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with TU Darmstadt.
