VIS Kontaktparty at ETH Zurich, Switzerland 2024

think-cell has been attending the VIS Kontaktparty as a long-standing tradition for the past 10+ years at ETH Zurich, and this year was no exception.

The Kontaktparty is organized annually on a voluntary basis by Kontaktparty Committee (KPK) of the Association of Computer Science Students at ETH Zurich (VIS) and has established itself over time as the largest academic IT recruiting fair in Switzerland with more than 1000 visitors. The fair took place at the ETH Zurich Center and was primarily aimed at students of computer science at ETH Zurich as well as other universities.

Senior Software Engineers Valentin and Volker, and Julia and Anna from our HR team had many fruitful discussions with inquisitive students and job-seekers at the think-cell booth. The topics were focused around C++, how we develop our software, as well as what it is like working with a group of international and talented people, in an environment that is driven by the strive for excellence.

We also had a coffee bar setup where our friendly barista was busy making coffees for everyone. The coffee bar is by now a prominent tradition at the Kontaktparty, and was well received by the attendees.

Thank you to the the organizers for yet another great event. We are looking forward to being back at ETH Zurich again next year!
