KB0048: After using the Document Inspector, thinkcell elements are corrupted

Problem

After using the Document Inspector of Microsoft Office some thinkcell elements lost their thinkcell functionality. The Document Inspector can be started in PowerPoint by clicking on File > Info > Check for Issues > Inspect Document

Using the Invisible On-Slide Content option of the Document Inspector removes some data relevant to thinkcell. Afterwards, the thinkcell functionality cannot be restored.

Solution

When using the Microsoft Office Document Inspector do NOT tick the option Invisible On-Slide Content.
