The role and your impact

In your role as an Event Manager in our Berlin office, you will be responsible for a broad set of activities that will help us source the best tech talent from all over the world.

Reporting to our HR Lead EMEA, you will be responsible for:

  • Organizing and attending various technical conferences, professional meetups, and career events for students (15-20 per year)
  • Hands-on managing the entire process of the event: from the planning stage through to running the event and carrying out the post evaluation
  • Brainstorming and implementing detailed proposals for events: including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, promo/employer branding materials and budgets
  • Negotiating sponsorship deals, liaising, and negotiating with vendors, handling budgeting and invoicing
  • Managing and coordinating suppliers and all event logistics (for example, venue, catering, travel)
  • Together with HR and tech team, taking part in the events and engaging with possible candidates
  • Universities partnership project: evaluation and research among top technical universities for cooperation in terms of scholarship projects and/or career fairs
  • Room for implementing your ideas that will help us attract the top tech talent from all over the world

Your profile

  • University degree
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Proven experience as an event manager: 3-6 years, organization of several full-scale events; experience with employer branding would be a great advantage.
  • Ability and willingness to work hands-on on every part of the project from idea to execution
  • Ability to lead and execute large scale projects with multiple stakeholders independently
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in working/establishing cooperation with universities, organizing events for students will be a plus
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, communication, and problem-solving skills
