C++ Europe Conference in Bucharest, Romania

February 27, 2018

On February 27th, we had the pleasure of attending the first edition of the C++ Europe Conference that took place in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. The conference brought together over 150 C++ experts from across Europe. The schedule offered 8 talks from international speakers in 2 parallel tracks, along with 2 keynote speakers: Jose Daniel Garcia, Chair at Spanish C++ Standards committee and Associate Professor at University Carlos III of Madrid, and Andrei Alexandrescu, author of Modern C++ Design.

Besides supporting the event as its main sponsor, we also had the pleasure of having our CTO, Arno Schödl, as a speaker. He shared his enthusiasm for ranges in his talk “From Iterators to Ranges — The Upcoming Evolution of the Standard Library”.

Throughout the conference, our think-cell booth attracted attendees to our delicious candy bar while sharing more about our think-cell product and the opportunity to join our team as C++ developer in Berlin! Congratulations to the organizers for making this conference happen. We look forward to many more editions!
