think-cell was caffeine-sponsor of the RoboCup German Open 2014 in Magdeburg. In other words, we enriched the RoboCup experience of all Major League teams with a comfortable coffee lounge.
Dr. Markus Hannebauer, co-founder and managing director of think-cell, can look back on a long-standing relationship with RoboCup, which began in 1997 in Nagoya, Japan. At this first RoboCup, his team from Humboldt-University of Berlin won the Simulator League world championship. Founding think-cell in 2002, he then chose a different path. However, he never lost his enthusiasm for RoboCup. A large portion of our team of developers from Berlin joined Markus on his visit to this year’s RoboCup German Open.
In our comfortable lounge we served cappuccino, coffee and espresso and offered refreshments to the winners of the daily competitions. When the finals of the SPL and Humanoid Leagues rolled around on Saturday, our coffee bar was stormed by excited spectators who enjoyed the view from our elevated lounge.
think-cell was founded in 2002 by two computer scientists who continue to run the company. We produce graphics software that performs most of the painstaking work of creating presentation slides for our demanding users.
