EAT++ at TU Munich

What happened at this event?

On January 17 we headed down to snow-covered Munich for another EAT++ Lecture #05 event. Professor Rüdiger Westermann of Technische Universität München welcomed us at the campus in Garching along with a large group of students and faculty staff members.

At 5 pm our colleague Valentin Ziegler held a lecture titled "Layout without LaTeX: Interactive and intuitive" presenting some of our latest theoretical and practival results on automated slide layout. The talk was very well received by the 39 attendees and numerous questions led to a vivid discussion after the talk.

27 of the attendies followed our dinner invitation to Restaurant Reitschule in Munich's English Garden. It was a delightful evening and lively discussions on- and off-topic were continued over a very enjoyable meal.
