KB0013: PowerPoint is slow when running with the think-cell add-in

There is no semi-transparent shade in the frame when inserting a new smart-element

The Excel data sheet does not show colored areas

Cause

If the think-cell user interface cannot render semi-transparent graphics, this is an indication that hardware acceleration of the graphics adapter does not work.

Refer to

• If your machine is running Windows 2000 and you have been using Microsoft Netmeeting on this machine, then probably KB0053: Netmeeting's Desktop Sharing feature did not shut down properly.
• If there is no problem with Netmeeting then refer to KB0051: I received the error message "An error occurred when displaying the think-cell user interface." Maybe your graphics adapter is incompatible with think-cell.
