KB0009: When I start PowerPoint with think-cell, an Excel window appears as well

Cause

An error in the stock market data Excel add-in QMatrix XLQ (www.qmatix.com/XLQ.htm) is the cause for this behavior. You can also reproduce it without think-cell by starting Word and selecting Insert → Object → Excel Worksheet.

Solution

Please uninstall this application or turn to the manufacturer for support.
