KB0007: PowerPoint crashes when started by double-clicking a presentation

Solution

If PowerPoint consistently crashes when you try to open a certain presentation, you just discovered an unknown problem. Please,

1. first of all, copy the unchanged presentation to a safe place. To assist us in solving the problem we would appreciate you sending us the offending presentation. If you are unsure about your firm's policy on sending files to think-cell, please contact your IT support.
2. Then start PowerPoint without opening a presentation at the same time,
3. open the More menu in the think-cell toolbar
4. and click Deactivate think-cell.
5. With think-cell disabled, load and edit the presentation that has been crashing. You cannot currently use the think-cell add-in with this presentation, but we will usually provide an update within a few days.
