In late 2001, Arno Schödl contacted his former schoolmate Markus Hannebauer in a night-time phone call with the idea to create the world's most intelligent presentation software. Both were about to finish their studies in computer science and had to decide what to do after their PhD.
During the following months, Arno pulled up stakes at the Georgia Institute of Technology after refining the technical foundations of the business idea, while Markus bootstrapped the company in Berlin.
On the 12th of April 2002, Markus and Arno founded
think-cell has grown quickly and is today a
software company of unparalleled proficiency and efficiency. The rather small group of developers, sales and support people creates
